how much does it cost to join?

The one-time initiation fee is $99. Monthly membership fees are $50. You may pause your membership anytime and reactivate your membership at a later date for $10.

Am I really a member for life?

Yes! This is not an exaggeration. In fact, we have former members who have not been with us for many years return to us after returning to San Diego. Because we keep your account instead of deleting it entirely, reactivating your membership years in the future is an easy process, allowing you to pick up where you left off, with all of your records intact.

Is aircraft rental a wet lease?

Yes! Fuel and maintenance costs are included, meaning you do not pay anything extra. Aircraft rental fees are based on Hobbs time.

Do we have club insurance?

Yes! By becoming an AFAC member, you are automatically included in our Named Insured roster. Additionally, we offer an optional Insurance Deductible Plan for an additional $3 per month for members who would like to decrease their deductible.
